STRATEGY

SIMPLE SOLUTIONS
  1. Ensure that Windows user has full control of MassLynx and Waters Instruments folders - WKB24705
  2. Ensure that User Account Control Setting is set to "Never Notify" - WKB17373
  3. With MassLynx closed, restart MS electronics - WKB654
  4. Restart PC and all modules - WKB3194
  5. Ensure that the DHCP server configuration is set up correctly - WKB93827
  6. Delete module or modules from DHCP and repopulate - WKB4409
INTERMEDIATE SOLUTIONS
  1. Delete and regenerate ACQUITYSettings.xml file (and others, as needed) under MassLynx - WKB11966
  2. Delete and regenerate DHCP.xml file - WKB2631
  3. Inspect IntelliStart .xml files and replace corrupted ones - WKB11456
ADVANCED SOLUTIONS
  1. Install ICS as required for some standalone MS systems - WKB29933
  2. Load .net framework from appropriate driver pack - WKB23238

  4. Disable or remove unsupported antivirus software - WKB31257
  5. Reinstall MassLynx - WKB11175
