QDa missing from the console - WKB24705

SYMPTOMS

• QDa is communicating with the computer, but is missing from the console.
• OS Windows User control to MassLynx and Waters Instruments folder was removed. After this change, QDa communicated correctly, but was not present on the console.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector

CAUSE

Restricted user account.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Allow full control of OS Windows User to MassLynx and Waters Instruments folders.
