Loss of comunication due to Firewall ON in local area conections . - WKB25516

SYMPTOMS

• Loss of communication.
• In WDHCP configuration server, UPLC modules and XEVO TQ-S with IP, but there are no recognized modules or serial numbers.

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-XS
• Lenovo
• ACQUITY UPLC
• BioAccord System
• ACQUITY RDa Detector

CAUSE

Firewall ON in all local area connections (local area connection 1 and local area connection 2). 

Local area connections in the same PC´s mother board.

FIX or WORKAROUND

An extra network card (LAN). Windows Firewall OFF for this extra card and firewall ON for the card in the mother board.
