No flow coming from ACQUITY BSM QSM - WKB46463

SYMPTOMS

• No solvent comes out of the BSM when flow is set
• No solvent comes out of the prime waste line during priming
• Solvent does not flow out of the top of the check valve when removed from the pump

CAUSE

Blocked primary check valve cartridge   

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the primary check valve cartridge. (WKB275812)
2. As a temporary fix, you can also sonicate the check valves in 50/50 Methanol/Water (WKB85138)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This same problem has been observed with a faulty GPV. The solution is to replace the faulty check valve (700005161).

For I2V systems, if replacing the check valve does not correct the problem, replace the I2V actuator, see ACQUITY H-Class unstable or no pressure.  Before replacing the i2V actuator, make sure the connection to the personality PCB is secure.
