Unstable pressure on ACQUITY UPLC - WKB22900

SYMPTOMS

  • Pressure is unstable
  • Dynamic leak test pass
  • Sonicating the check valves does not resolve issue
  • Primary pressure trace displays little to no pressure difference on each stroke (see picture)

CAUSE

Faulty primary i2v check valve

FIX or WORKAROUND
