Upside-down text appears in reports printed to NuGenesis UNIFY from Malvern 3000 software - WKB66043

SYMPTOMS

• When viewing reports from Malvern 3000 in NuGenesis Preview, some of the text in the report, particularly in the graphs, appears upside-down, rotated, or flipped

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

The report was generated by the Windows Print spooler with some text rotated 180 degrees relative to the horizontal, resulting in some text appearing upside-down.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Note the name of the Malvern 3000 software as it appears in the Printed By field in NuGenesis.
2. Enable the "noFlipHorz" UNIFY driver option for the name determined in step 1.
