Error "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed" appears in the NuGenesis AA log file - WKB23093

SYMPTOMS

• The following error message appears in the Archive Agent activity log file:
  • "GetFSInfoFromOcx 10048 Err Desc - TRANSPORT ERROR GETTING VOLUME INFORMATION. Error category : 1 System Code (1789) - The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed."

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

The NuGenesis File Capture Template contains a scan line that scans an instrument PC with an invalid computer account in the PC's configured domain. The instrument PC is no longer able to authenticate the NuGenesis RPC Service account.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Using a Domain Administrator account, reset the domain computer account for the instrument PC.
