Empower sample set does not move to the next line or injection - WKB87792

SYMPTOMS

A running Empower sample set does not move to the next injection or line in the sample set
The bottom of the sample set editor window continues to show the current injection still running, even after the specified run time has passed
The only way to move the sample set to the next injection or line is to click on "Abort" and select "Abort and move to the next injection"
The project has sufficient table space
In the run samples window "injection waiting" message may appear

Corrupted system, instrument method, method set, project or communication issue

Reboot computer
Create new system WKB2121
Create a new Empower project.
- To ensure that corruption is not copied to the new project, do not copy or clone the current project or methods.
If issue remains, create new instrument methods, method sets, and sample set methods.
- Create new instrument methods with only the components needed for the analysis.
