Sensitivity low on the Xevo TQ MS, Xevo TQD, Xevo TQ-S, Xevo TQ-S micro or Xevo TQ-XS - WKB72231

SYMPTOMS

• Lower than expected sensitivity
• While infusing a sample and monitoring the beam on the tune page, gently pushing or pulling the probe results in beam intensity increase
• System is not charging and all voltages are as expected

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ MS
• Xevo TQD
• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-S micro
• Xevo TQ-XS

CAUSE

Probe tip is slightly bent and not directing the nebulized spray toward the sample cone.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace or straighten the probe tip.
