MS communication error and slow responses, even with EPC reboot - WKB65120

SYMPTOMS

Any of the following:

  • Tune Page does not open
  • MassLynx slow to open or slow and unresponsive
  • MS Console shows communication error directly after MS reboot
  • Task Manager shows no unusual program and low usability
  • MassLynx either fails or takes more than half an hour to open options such as bed layout editor and the inlet configuration 

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx
  • Xevo G2-XS
  • ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reboot the host PC.
