SYMPTOMS

• Desolvation temperature fails to settle 
• Desolvation temperature does not rise above 47 °C

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQD
• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-S micro

CAUSE

Corrupt temporary tune files

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx and the MS Console.
2. Navigate to the C:/MassLynx/Harrier folder. *
3. In the Harrier folder, find and delete the following temporary tune files: nonstorageexp.exp, tuneexp.exp, and tuneprm.ipr
4. Launch MassLynx, open the Tune page, and set the desired desolvation temperature.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Temporary tune files are recreated when MassLynx opens.

*The folder is named Harrier for XEVO TQD but have different names depending on MS. Find what it is called for your instrument in WKB62726.
