CAUSE

Incorrect Tune page settings for desolvation gas and temperature

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Adjust desolvation gas flow for low flow (e.g., <500 L/h for 10 µL/min).
2. Adjust desolvation temperature for low flow (e.g., <200 °C for 10 µL/min).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If the desolvation temperature is too high, the solvent will evaporate prior to leaving the capillary, thereby killing the electrospray effect.
