ENVIRONMENT

CAUSE

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Close MassLynx software and the ACQUITY MS Console.
  2. Restart the MassLynx PC.
  3. Log in to Windows but do not start MassLynx.
  4. Restart the Xevo TQ-XS electronics using the toggle switch on the back.
    • Move the vacuum override switch (top) to the down position (to move the toggle switches, you must first pull them out slightly).
    • Move the electronics switch (bottom) to the down position to power-off the electronics (allow the fans on the Xevo TQ-XS to stop before proceeding).
    • Move the electronics switch back to the up position. (The fans will start to spin much faster than expected. Wait for the fans to slow before proceeding.)
    • When the fans have slowed, put the vacuum override switch back into the up position.
    • Open MassLynx.
    • Verify that you have the Not Scanning status on the bottom edge of the sample list page and that the Xevo TQ-XS appears in the ACQUITY MS Console.
