No beam in negative ion on Xevo G2-XS - WKB119638

SYMPTOMS
- No ion beam in negative ion in either mode
- Switching polarity to positive ion and back does not return the ion beam
- Readbacks for power supplies and lens voltages appear normal
ENVIRONMENT
- Xevo G2-XS
- UNIFI Workstation
CAUSE
Unknown
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Turn the system to Standby.
- Take the system offline in Device Management.
- Power cycle electronics using the micro-switch on the back of the MS (with Pump Override switch in Override position).
- Wait approximately 5 minutes for electronics to fully reboot.
- Bring the system back online.
- Confirm that negative ion beam is present via the instrument console.
