SYMPTOMS

• Sample manager collects sample, moves to the injection port, and then the sample list pauses
• "Waters Generic Instrument COM Server. Detector Method Failed to open raw files, PreStartdataAcquisition failed" error from the inlet editor

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• 2767 Sample Manager

CAUSE

Corrupt project folder

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Create a new project, method, and sample list
2. Delete the system and reconfigure it in the new project.
