SYMPTOMS
- High and variable RSD when injecting standards
- System leak test fails when including the needle and needle seal
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager
- ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
- ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
CAUSE
A leak between the needle and the needle seal causes variable injection responses and a high RSD.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Replace the needle and the needle seal
