Faulty needle wash pump causing problems - WKB86413

SYMPTOMS

• The wash solution is not flowing out from the waste line (yellow) for the needle wash solution
• No sound from the needle wash pump when it is turned on 
• Needle wash pump fails to operate even after power cycle

ENVIRONMENT

• 2695 Separations Module
• 717plus Autosampler
• Alliance HPLC system

CAUSE

Needle wash pump is not working 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace WAT078979: Wash Pump Assembly 717
