• After replacing the loop, characterize needle and loop volume fails on an ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager

CAUSE

The needle seal was not characterized first.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Characterize needle seal: In the console window, select Maintain > Characterize Needle Seal.
2. Characterize needle and loop volume: In the console window, select Maintain > Characterize Needle and Loop Volume.
