Sample list queue is stuck in waters_connect with Xevo G3 QTof - WKB253630

SYMPTOMS

  • The sample list queue cannot be cleared in the system console > system monitor > sample list queue pane

  • Implementing the steps in the KCS article WKB10304 did not solve the problem
  • The instrument system [online] in use cannot be switched Offline without an error

ENVIRONMENT

  • Xevo G3 QTof
  • ACQUITY RDa Detector
  • waters_connect UNIFI 1.9.12, 3.0, 3.1 and later
  • waters_connect UNIFI Xevo G3 QTof driver 1.0.0 and later

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Close the system console app.
  2. Launch the UNIFI app from the waters_connect Hub.
  3. Go to UNIFI app > administration > Device management and locate the workstation tab.
  4. Right-click on the Workstation line. Click Reset.
  5. Click Force.

  6. Specify a reason for resetting the LND and confirm.
  7. Click Close after the LND is successfully reset.
  8. Launch the system console app from the waters_connect Hub.
  9. Go to the system console > system monitor, and click on the instrument system.
  10. Confirm that the sample list queue has cleared.
