- The results in LMS cannot be manually edited because the test is linked to a document
- "Allow special limits" is active for the test
- The request in LMS cannot be completed and released because one or more results have no valuation
ENVIRONMENT
- NuGenesis 9 LMS
- NuGenesis 8 LMS
CAUSE
A defect in the Historical Stability template
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Open the Historical Stability template in the template editor.
- Edit the results entry section and switch it to Design mode.
- Select the Query tab.
- Enter the word VALUATION in cell L4.
- Enter the following formula into cell L5:
- =IF($K5 <> "", 1, "")
- Copy that formula into all cells, from L6 down to L404.
- Click the Formulas tab in the Ribbon, and then click Name Manager.
- Select the named range "myresult" and change its range to:
- =Querry!$J$4:$L$404
- Close Excel, save and approve the template.
- Select the tests and create a new document. The new document will use the updated template and provide a valuation code for tests with results such as <LOQ and <LOD.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This article assumes that the Historical Stability template has been expanded to 400 rows as per article WKB75107.
This update sets a valuation code of 1 for all results entered through this form. If it is necessary to have NOK valuations entered through this form, contact Waters Professional Services for assistance. Setting a valuation code of 0 (for NOK) instead of 1 in the hidden sheet requires additional logic and form configurations that cannot be covered within the scope of an article.
