Error "The project does not have a corresponding folder on RAW data share" appears in the NuGenesis Archive Agent log file - WKB49616

SYMPTOMS

• The Archive Agent (AA) module is running with a file capture template line that uses Empower Data Adapter 
• The following error message appears in the AA activity log:
  • The project [Empower project name] does not have a corresponding folder on RAW data share. The folder [Empower data UNC path] does not exist.
    Please add the project [Empower project name] to the SDMS Exceptions List.
• The Empower project referenced in the error has a valid data folder in the Empower data UNC path with a ^# at the end

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SR2
• NuGenesis Data Adpaters Release 3
• Empower 2 or Empower 3 client

CAUSE

The Empower project being captured had a name that duplicates that of an existing project. 
Empower manages duplicate project names by creating a data folder with the project name and a ^1 or ^2 extension. 
NuGenesis Data Adapters does not identify the Empower Data folder correctly.
 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Apply the NuGenesis Data Adapters 3 Hotfix 2. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

NuGenesis Data Adapters 3 Hotfix 1 contains the fix, but Hotfix 2 has the code changes that were made in Hotfix 1.
