OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Add the NuGenesis SDMS WebVision site to Internet Explorer's Compatibility View list, so that the site functions as expected within the browser.

PROCEDURE

The preferred method for adding WebVision to the compatibility list is with an HTTP header. However, if the NuGenesis web server cannot be modified, the site can be added locally to the list, or added via domain group policy. This article outlines the process to add WebVision locally.

1. Open a browser tab or window and enter the URL for the WebVision site. Example: http:// ng8server/servlet/WebVisionServlet/
   • Use https: for the WebVision URL if the system is NuGenesis 8 SR2.
2. Click the Tools menu > Compatibility View settings menu item.
3. Click the Add button to add the WebVision server to the list.
4. Click OK to the dialog box and reload the site.
