EZInfo report does not display correctly - WKB63293

SYMPTOMS

• When the XS button is pressed in MarkerLynxXS, the EZInfo report window opens, but no data is displayed. Example errors shown below.

• MarkerLynxXS
• EZinfo 2.0

CAUSE

The EZInfo package does not immediately format the page correctly when it first opens (you must click on refresh) if the Windows computer has had Internet Explorer updated past version 8. Because almost everyone will have updated to IE 9, 10, or 11, anyone using MarkerLynxXS on a modern PC will likely experience this problem.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Press Refresh in the EZInfo menu bar. The report template will reload and the results display correctly as shown below.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Downgrading Internet Explorer to version 8 will also fix the problem, but that's not an option for most customers.
