In MassLynx, Getting Error 1334 - file tis.imaging.icimagingcontrol cannot be installed - WKB14540

SYMPTOMS

• Software cannot open. Receive the following error that reads:

Error 1334. File tis.imaging.icimagingcontrol cannot be installed - cannot be found in Data1.cab. Error with network/ reading from cd or problem with this package.

• Same error occurs when trying to run a MassLynx Repair (Note: MassLynx Repair is not supported in later versions)

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 781 on Synapt G2 MS
• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 855 on Xevo TQD

CAUSE

Unknown.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Use a Windows Restore point with a date prior to the problem occurring.
   NOTE: If rolling back to a restore point back up ALL data as the data will be unusable after rolling back the software. See Cannot open MassLynx raw data files after performing a roll-back to a system restore point - WKB10059
