The MassLynx tune page does not recognize the UniSpray - WKB124420

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot use UniSpray source with MassLynx
• When I replace the ESI source with a UniSpray source, the tune page does not update to allow selection of the UniSpray
• UniSpray does not show in the Tune Page > Ion Mode drop-down menu
• When swapping from ESI to UniSpray there is no message in MassLynx about the UniSpray source, it is not recognised by the software.
• e.g. MassLynx 4.1 and SCN905 for Xevo TQ and Xevo TQ-S

ENVIRONMENT

• UniSpray
• MassLynx 
• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ MS
• ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector 
• SYNAPT XS
• SYNAPT G2-Si 
• Xevo TQ-GC

CAUSE

Either this software version or the MS instrument does not support the UniSpray source.
