Lost communication with LAC/E - WKB97830

SYMPTOMS

• Two systems lost communication with the LAC/E
• One system is going through a switch
• One system or more connect directly to the LAC/E
• Network adaptors are bridged

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance
• ACQUITY UPLC
• LAC/E

CAUSE

Bridged network

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Unbridge the network adaptors (see WKB72335).
2. Configure the network adaptor in DHCP.
3. Connect all instruments to the switch.
4. Reboot the LAC/E.
5. Power-up the instruments.
