SYMPTOMS

• The WFM-A instrument method freezes (becomes unresponsive) when the "Collection Event Table/Simulation" button is selected
• Cannot close or modify the instrument method after clicking "Collection Event Table/Simulation"

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Network
• Waters Fraction Manager - Analytical (WFM-A)
• Application server RDS (Remote Desktop Server) (only Citrix is officially supported with Empower 3)

CAUSE

Users sometimes use two screens, sometimes only one screen. If the window "Collection Event Table/Simulation" is moved to the second screen, it does not appear when only one screen is used.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Do not move the window "Collection Event Table/Simulation" to the second screen.
