In SR3 or above, messages displayed in review do not match those specified in the LAC/E32 module and acquisition client buffering test protocol - WKB97377

SYMPTOMS

• On page 8 of the protocol, points 6 and 7 refer to "Data Missing" displayed in the review window during buffering test.
• A screen shot is required.
• The actual message is "Data being acquired, Problem reading datafile".

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• SR3 or higher
• LAC/E32 module and acquisition client buffering protocol (715002971, Revision A)

CAUSE

Starting with Empower 3 SR3, new discrete messages in review to replace "Data Missing" were implemented to clarify the exact nature of any issue encountered.

The following message in review replace the "Data Missing" message.

• Data File Not Found
• Project Directory Not Found
• Problem Reading Data File

Additionally, new channel and injection status messages were implemented. Thus, the message "Data being acquired, Problem reading datafile" is now equivalent to "Data Missing". Therefore, it is not possible to provide the screenshot, in SR3 or above, as requested by the protocol of review displaying the "Data Missing" message. The protocol requires updating to account for the different discrete messages in review that replaced "Data Missing".

A screenshot of the actual message and this KCS article should be included when the protocol is executed.
