Navigating between injections in Empower Review is slow - WKB63612

SYMPTOMS

• Noticeable lags when navigating between injections after bringing a Sample Set into Review
• Sample Set contains multiple channels (e.g., 273 nm and 270 nm UV data

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR4

CAUSE

The Processing Method window is open in addition to the Review main window. In addition to integrating the channels as noted above, Empower is updating the Processing Method screen in the background.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Ensure that the Processing Method window is closed and that only the Review main window is open.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Method Set Options may be set to "Named Method Set", but no Method Set Name is defined in the drop-down, and Automatically Apply Method Set is enabled. (See WKB57218.) This setting causes Empower to attempt to integrate all channels as the user navigates between injections.
