Quantify components with internal standard correction to account for variation in LC-MS analysis in Empower with 2D data channels SIR or MRM.

PROCEDURE
- Acquire 2D data for the component of interest and the internal standard (SIR or MRM channels) in Empower.
- Create a cross-channel processing method using the processing method wizard:
- Refer to the correct channel name for the component of interest and the internal standard.
- It will first set up the parameters for the component of interest and then continue for the internal standard.
- Save the created processing method.
- Edit the method set used for the acquisition or create a new method set for processing:
- Select the data channel for your component of interest and the created cross-channel processing method.
- Save the method set.
- Select the data channel for your component of interest and the created cross-channel processing method.
- Process your sample set with this method set to obtain quantitative results (peak response, calibration curve, amount) for your component of interest after internal standard correction.
