SYMPTOMS
- "Empower 3 Base Package Option has not been installed yet. Please install the option and try again" message appears when a user opens Empower
- Show Licenses on the Waters Licensing Wizard is blank
- Instrument runs continue, and a new run can begin with an open run samples window
- Opening a new window in Empower, such as Run Samples, also gives the error
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 all platforms
CAUSE
The base license is not activated.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Activate the base license and all additional licenses if any. For instructions on activation, see KCS article 1918.
