ENVIRONMENT

PROCEDURE
1. Open the "Suitability" tab in the Processing Method Editor screen used for processing
2. Make the following settings on the "Suitability" tab of the Processing Method Editor screen and save the processing method
- Check "Calculate Suitability Results"
- Enter the value for "Void Volume Time"
- Select “Japanese Pharmacopoeia” or “All” for Pharmacopoeia
- Check "Calculate USP, EP, and JP s/n"
- Remove the check for “Use noise centered on peak region in blank injection”
3. Check the "Calculate Detector Noise and Drift" on "Noise and Drift" tab of Processing Method.
For the Start Time and End Time, specify the region where the no peaks of the channel data to be processed elutes as the noise calculation region.
* It is not possible to automatically set the region of 20 times the half width of each peak as the Noise Region.
*Only one region can be specified as the Noise Region.
*Data of more than 60 points is required for the noise calculation region. If there are not enough points, the result will be blank.
The minimum range (seconds) for correct calculation is "60÷[sampling rate]".
Although the setting of the calculation region is not directly related to the calculation of JP s/n, when the range between the Start Time and End Time is shorter than the calculation region, an error will be displayed,
therefore you need to set the region to ensure it falls within the range between the Start Time and End Time.
4. Save the processing method and process.
