Article number: 67888

SYMPTOMS

  • 2767 hits side of injector or wash station when injecting
  • 2767 gives z axis motor loss steps or movement errors
  • 2767 probe slightly off center when in home position
  • 2767 probe pushes reference position down too far

ENVIRONMENT

  • AutoPurification
  • MassLynx
  • FractionLynx
  • 2767 Sample Manager

CAUSE

The 2767 Sample Manager probe arm accidentally moved out of position.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Open the inlet method.
  2. From LC drop-down menu, select Reset Injector.
  3. Recalibrate the reference position if necessary.
  4. Check bed and vial positions if necessary.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The arm can be physically moved or accidentally "bumped," which moves the 2767 out of position. This can happen without the sample manager or software aware of being out of position, and the 2767 tries to continue running incorrectly until reset.
