SYMPTOMS

• Shifts in retention times on Fluid Delivery Module 10
• Some peaks elute earlier, some peaks elute later and are reproducible
• The CO₂ inlet temperature readback fluctuates between 12.0 and13.5 °C
• The Pressure Drop readback fluctuates between 0 and 10 bar

CAUSE

Failing check valve

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the check valve or valves (part 700008840).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The CO₂ inlet temperature readback should be approximately 11 °C with flow on.

The pressure drop delta (at constant conditions) should be approximately 1-2 bar depending on co-solvent composition.
