ACQUITY UPLC Column Heater/Cooler (the 30-cm CHC) does not appear in console - WKB296087

SYMPTOMS

• Column heater/cooler does not appear in ACQUITY console

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY Arc Sample Manager FTN-R

• ACQUITY UPLC 30-cm Column Heater/Cooler (30-cm CHC)

• Alliance Series Column Heater/Cooler

CAUSE

Instruments powered-up in the wrong order 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Power-off the 30-cm column heater/cooler on the side.
2. Power-off all ACQUITY modules.
3. Power-on the 30-cm column manager on the side. 
4. Power-on the sample manger first, and then all other ACQUITY modules.
5. Confirm that column heater readback is visible in ACQUITY console (in Sample Manager).
