    Find the NI Driver - NI-488.2 version 2.8.1 - Windows 7 64-bit/7 32-bit/Server 2003 R2 32-bit/XP/Vista 64-bit/Vista 32-bit/Server 2008 R2 64-bit at The download is 424 MB.

For Beckman CE firmware versions 10.1, use NI-488.2 driver version 3.1.0.

  3. Ensure that the system has the minimum firmware required: Beckman Coulter P/ACE MDQ CE is 5.7, Beckman Coulter PA 800 is 7.2, Beckman Coulter PA 800 Plus is 9.0.

  4. Connect the system via IEEE-ethernet or IEEE-usb converter.

  5. From Empower, open Node properties and access the DHCP server. Select BCPACEMDQ as the type and 1 as the serial number. An IP address is not required for usb connections. Power-cycle the Beckman system in order to receive a manual address.
