Empower Sciex CE Control License 1 pk (667006306) contains the following:

• Control License.
  • Neither the Beckman v1.2.1 driver nor the Sciex v1.3 driver is included in this kit.  
  • The Sciex CE License allows the Sciex/Beckman CE system to be brought online when the Driver version is 1.3.0 or higher
  • The Beckman CE License allows the Sciex/Beckman CE system to be brought online when the Driver version is 1.2.1 or lower
  • This license will be updated in the future to reference the Sciex brand.

The Empower Sciex CE Control License is specific to ICS 1.3.0 (and any subsequent updates to the instrument control software). You need an available system control license and the Instrument Control License (from 667006306). Until Empower 3.7.0, the ICL (Instrument Control License) for Sciex is a paper license. After that, the system can not be used unless the ICL is registered in the Empower database.

ICS 1.3.0 is available exclusively from Sciex and it includes a USB dongle to enable control.

The USB to IEEE cable is available from Sciex.
