SYMPTOMS

• LC/MS System Check fails all criteria with zero values

ENVIRONMENT

• IntelliStart

CAUSE

Incorrect LC or MS methods, functions, or channels are being used in the IntelliStart LC/MS System Check system parameters.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Locate which tune page (.ipr) LC methods and MS method you want to use.
2. Using Windows Explorer, copy those methods into C:\Masslynx\SystemQC.pro\Acqudb.
3. Open the MS Console and select IntelliStart from the mass spectrometer menu.
4. Select the box next to LC/MS System Check and click the "Start" balloon on the right-hand side of the console. 
5. From the LC/MS System Check tab, locate the method section in the bottom-left corner of the screen. For each method (Tune, LC, and MS), browse to the correct method located in the C:\Masslynx\SystemQC.pro\Acqudb folder. Additionally, choose the correct MRM parent/daughter masses and save the method.
