Extremely poor sensitivity with Xevo TQD - WKB95703

SYMPTOMS

• Extremely poor sensitivity with Xevo TQD
• It happened after the instrument restart.
• In TWAVE Diagnostic, the readback of the Collision Ion Guide Pulse Amp becomes a 3-digit value and almost 0 in some places repeatedly.
• In TWAVE Diagnostic, the readback of HT supply and Collision Guide RF goes up or down repeatedly.
• Turning off the Operate doesn’t improve.
• LEDs on the TWAVE generator body are displayed in red.

CAUSE

Malfunction of TWAVE generator

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Improved by unplugging/plugging the LAN cable connected to the bottom
