Solvent leaks from the diverter valve on Xevo Mass Spectrometer - WKB78943
Article number: 78943
SYMPTOMS
- Solvent leaks from the diverter valve
- Leak sensor triggered
ENVIRONMENT
- Xevo TQD
- SQ Detector 2
- Xevo TQ-S micro
- Xevo TQ-XS
CAUSE
1 - The ESI probe capillary is blocked.
2 - The red PEEK waste line on the diverter valve is blocked.
3 - The LC to divert valve tubing is blocked or fittings aren't tight enough to withstand the pressure
FIX or WORKAROUND
Solution 1:
- Follow the instructional video on how to replace the ESI capillary. View here.
- Reinstall tubing into the fluidics valve port that was leaking.
- Test for functionality.
Solution 2:
Replace the red PEEK waste line, LC to divert valve tubing and fittings.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
