Quattro Micro syringe does not respond to tune page commands - WKB7612

SYMPTOMS

• Syringe is not moving
• Syringe pump does not respond to MassLynx commands

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 
• Quattro Micro

CAUSE

Partial loss of communications with the embedded PC

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx.
2. Open a command window by typing cmd in Windows search.
3. Type telnet epc in the command window, and press Enter.
4. Type reboot in the command window and press Enter.
5. Wait three minutes for the embedded PC to run through the complete boot sequence.
6. Open MassLynx.
7. Open the Tune page.
8. Turn on API gas and place the MS in Operate mode.
9. Enable the syringe pump and confirm syringe movement.
