Flow profile on neonatal system is unstable - WKB74983

SYMPTOMS

• The flow profile starts off normal but becomes unstable

ENVIRONMENT

• TQ Detector
• 2777 Sample Manager
• 1525 Micro Binary HPLC Pump

CAUSE

The rotor seal is wearing out on the 2777 and causing a partial blockage in the ESI probe of the TQD. This has the effect of making the beam unstable when the flow profile drops to a low flow rate.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the rotor seal on the 2777.
2. Rebuild the ESI probe.
