Desolvation temperature drops at start of run on Xevo TQD - WKB7405

SYMPTOMS

• The desolvation temperature drops at the start of a run on the Xevo TQD. 
• The desolvation temperature is correct for the positive ion runs and drops for the negative ion runs.

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQD
• MassLynx 4.1

CAUSE

The desolvation temperature is not set to the correct temperature in the tune page for negative ion mode. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Go to the tune page.
2. Switch to negative ion mode. 
3. Set the temperature to the desired temperature.
4. Save the tune page. 
5. Start the run.
