SYMPTOMS

• MS fails source pressure test with an exhaust trip warning

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ

CAUSE

Restricted API gas feed-through line in the source enclosure

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the source enclosure door.
2. Locate the tubing that feeds the API gas into the source enclosure (feeds through small green gas O-ring/ seal).
3. Blow compressed air into the feed line to alleviate the restriction. 
4. Close the source enclosure door and wait for the source pressure test to successfully complete.
