SYMPTOMS

• When the scanning range of the Empower method is set to 200-1250 Da, the instrument status is always Running and cannot be controlled

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
• Empower

CAUSE

The method setting exceeds the upper limit of the instrument scan number.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. When the Empower method scan range is set to 200-1250 Da, the accuracy rate should be less than 10 (recommendation: 8).
2. Recommendation: Set the Empower method scan range to 200-1200 Da.
