RDa instrument setup or calibration fails in UNIFI - WKB53359

SYMPTOMS

• RDa calibration fails in UNIFI

ENVIRONMENT

• RDa detector
• UNIFI Workstation

CAUSE

The fluidics tubing is above the level of the solution in the bottle, there is air in lines due to a loose fitting or the piston pump is failing

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reinstall the bottle so that the fluidics tubing is submerged in the lockmass or calibration solution
2. Make sure all fluidics fittings are tight at the divert valve
3. If there is still a delay in calibration solution infusing (30s or greater) consider replacing the piston pump (700012108)
4. Rerun the instrument setup/calibration
