Communications issue with Xevo MS - WKB52987

SYMPTOMS
- MassLynx status shows instrument not present
- Pinging EPC or IP address for MS gives "request timed out"
- Pinging is successful on other system components
- MS is missing from the ACQUITY Console
ENVIRONMENT
- MassLynx 4.1
- Xevo TQ MS
- Xevo TQD
- Xevo TQ-S
- Xevo TQ-S cronos
- Xevo TQ-S micro
- Xevo TQ-XS
CAUSE
Unknown
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Close MassLynx.
- Open Waters DHCP Server Configuration.
- Highlight the MS component and click Remove.
- Press the reset button to reset the .EPC
- Once MS information (MAC and IP address, Type, and Name) repopulate, close the Waters DHCP Server Configuration window.
- Open MassLynx and confirm that communications are established.
