"Instrument Failure" message when running shutdown method on ACQUITY QDa in Empower - WKB5049

SYMPTOMS

• When an LC shutdown method runs after a batch, instead of indicating Standby mode, Empower shows "Instrument Failure" message in the bottom bar
• Error message clears when placing ACQUITY QDa into Operate mode

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
• Empower 3

CAUSE

Bug in the software causes a failure to show instead of "in Standby".

There is no operation issue, and the instrument can be used when put back into Operate mode.
