Xevo G3 fails instrument setup - WKB283342

SYMPTOMS

• Instrument setup failure
• Instrument health check cards show instrument setup failure and detector setup failure
• Purging the lockmass solution multiple times does not help
• Service mode shows a Detector Setup error with the log message "Isotope Ratio Setup could not achieve IPP; beam too strong"

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G3
• waters_connect

CAUSE

Wrong lockmass concentration

FIX or WORKAROUND

Make new lockmass solution at a concentration of 200 pg/µL leucine enkephalin.
