No communications to instrumentation - Improper LAN cable configuration - WKB278588

SYMPTOMS

• No communications with instrument
• Firewall off
• Network configuration IP address keeps setting to corp LAN IP address (loader.exe scan and Web portal)

CAUSE

The Ethernet cable from the Sample Manager is plugged into Corporate LAN wall plugin port or the Ethernet cable is plugged into the PC Corporate LAN plugin instead of the Instrument LAN

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the Ethernet cable from the Sample Manager to Corporate LAN wall plugin.
2. Should be PC Instrument LAN to Sample Manager, and then to remaining LC-MS instruments.
